Accused bought cops’ tickets: IGP

Inspector general of police (IGP) Jaspal Singh in an affidavit filed before the high court of Bombay at Goa admitted the accused, who had filed a false rape case in 2016 against a Mumbai businessman, paid for the flight tickets that Goa police personnel took in the course of the investigation.
