Goa sees 13 AIDS deaths in 9 months, down from 21 in 2018

Goa has lost 13 lives — 9 women and 4 men — to AIDS (acquired immuno deficiency syndrome) between January and September this year. While the number seems alarming, it is a 61.9% drop from 2018’s 21 deaths. The figure was even higher in 2017 at 31 deaths.
