Goa: ‘Cannot fund Sal dredging as no potential for traffic’

In a significant setback to the state’s efforts to desilt River Sal, the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) on Saturday said their study found that there is no potential for cargo or passenger movement along the river and thus funds could not be allocated to dredge the river.
