Goa’s death toll now 48 with 3 new deaths, 280 fresh cases detected

The state’s Covid-19 death toll shot up to 48 on Saturday after three persons succumbed to the infection. It also saw its highest single-day spike in fresh cases, with 280, pushing the total active count to 1,707. Also, 227 persons were cured.
