Goa: Faking a ‘fast’ for lockdown parole, prisoners get caught in the act

After an agitation launched to secure ‘lockdown parole’ a few days ago by some inmates at Colvale Central Jail failed, a few of them began a ‘hunger strike’ two days ago. But jail authorities were notconvinced, and have warned these prisoners that their ‘Gandhigiri’ will not work.
